We are the professional body for teachers and provide direction for the teaching profession, including teacher education and continued professional and leadership development. We are committed to lifting the status of the teaching profession and creating an organisation that honours te tiriti o Waitangi.

Our Policy and Implementation team are excited to welcome applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the role of Senior Policy Analyst, contributing to policy initiatives that support, enable and strengthen the teaching profession in Aotearoa New Zealand.

What we are looking for:

  • Degree level tertiary qualification in public policy or similar.
  • At least 4 years’ experience of public policy processes and machinery of Government
  • Great analytical and research skills
  • A team player who recognises and draws on the strengths of others, to contribute to new thinking
  • Experience in policy writing and the ability to adapt your writing style to the intended audience
