Edit: The consultation has now closed. Thanks to everyone who took the time to give us feedback - we had just under 2,000 responses. We'll follow up with a summary of the feedback and next steps as soon as possible.

Now we have a draft Code and Standards, we need your input. Your feedback will help finalise the new Code of Professional Responsibility and Standards for the Teaching Profession. These will be finalised by 1 July 2017.

We've put together a series of discussion guides to facilitate teacher-led conversations about the Code with learners, parents and whānau. We encourage you to use the guides to structure your discussion before you provide feedback .

Once you're ready, there are several ways you can give us feedback either individually, as a group, or on behalf of an organisation. We’ve raised a range of questions in both the online survey and the downloadable submission template to make it easier. Feel free to answer as many, or as few, questions as you like. You’re also welcome to skip the specific questions and just provide more general feedback.
